North Shore Dance Academy offers outstanding classical ballet tuition for students from three and a half years of age to professional and teacher level. Ballet classes are accompanied by a virtuoso pianist.

Junior Ballet

Junior ballet classes start with Tiny Tots, Pre-Primary, Primary and Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4. Students from Primary and upwards can participate in Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations and are required to attend 2 ballet classes per week.

There is a holiday school in October for students from Primary and upwards in preparation for the examinations.

Junior Ballet classes are held throughout the week and on Saturdays.

Junior ballet students can also attend the Academy’s Jazz classes.

Students from Grade 2 Ballet upwards can attend Contemporary.

Students from Grade 4 Ballet upwards can attend Pilates/Stretch.

NSDA also offers outstanding Contemporary, Jazz/Hip Hop and Pilates/Stretch classes.

Senior ballet

Senior ballet classes start with Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1 and Advanced 2.

Senior vocational examinations are for students who wish to develop their strength, technique and artistry to the highest levels.

Classes are held throughout the week and on Saturdays.

Holiday schools are held throughout the year with renowned guest teachers and attendance at these is recommended.

Classes in Contemporary, Jazz, Pilates and Open Ballet are also offered for Senior students.
