ANNE GRAY
Anne Gray gained her Associate Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD) and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Teachers Diploma with Distinction, was an Adeline Genee Finalist in 1988 and a Society of Dance Arts (SODA) Finalist in 1987.  Anne has extensive international experience dancing at the Joffrey Ballet School, New York and in Monte Carlo, as well as the Sydney Festival Ballet Company.  Anne starred in the ballet film, Harlequin, and performed in various television commercials.  

In 1992 Anne founded the North Shore Dance Academy, which is now one of Sydney’s leading ballet and dance schools.  With her dedication, commitment and first class faculty, Anne has nurtured many students to successful careers in the Australian Ballet and dance companies throughout the world.  

Actively participating in Australia’s dance community, Anne is an Associate and a Mentor for teacher training for the Royal Academy of Dance, SODA committee member and member of the Sydney Eisteddfod Advisory Panel.
    DAMIEN GRIMA
    Damien commenced his dance training in Queensland before moving on to the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne.  He has extensive and varied experience as a professional dancer, including cruise ships, performing “Copacabana” in England, and for the Potters Theatre Company.  He has choreographed pieces for the Short Sweet & Dance Festival and taught Jazz, Contemporary and Ballroom.
     
    OLGA ILINA
    After graduating from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Moscow, with honours, Olga joined the Bolshoi Theatre Ballet and became a soloist performing in numerous ballets.  Olga toured with the Bolshoi in Japan, Italy, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Greece and USA. 
     
    GRANT KENNEDY
    Grant studied piano, pipe organ and musical theory during his secondary schooling before embarking on a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at UNSW.  During his tertiary study he played piano for NSDA and this re-ignited his passion for classical music and the arts.  As a ballet pianist Grant plays for the Australian Ballet, Sydney Dance Company and the Royal Academy of Dance.   

    KIT LETHBY ARAD PDTC (Dip.)
    Kit Lethby was a principal dancer with international companies such as Scottish Ballet, Basel Ballet and PACT.  He has danced the principal role in many ballet including Giselle, Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet and has appeared in many Gala Performances across the UK with famous dancers such as Margot Fonteyn, Rudolf Nureyev and Natalia Makarova to name a few.  After retiring from dancing Kit Lethby completed the Royal Academy of Dance Professional Dancer’s Teacher Training Course.  In 2004 he became a Vocational Graded Examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance.

    VERONICA MAHON
    Veronica studied ballet with her mother, Marie Walton-Mahon. In 1996 Veronica won the Gold Medal at the Genee Awards and graduated from the Australian Ballet School with Dux of the Year. Veronica joined the Australian Ballet Company and later performed with Ballet Ireland, Dublin, the Atlantic Southeast Ballet Company in South Carolina, USA, and Sydney Dance Company. Veronica is now enjoying teaching and choreographing.

    CHRISANTHI NAGENDRA ARAD (Lond) LCDD teaching Dip (Lond) Royal Academy of Dance Grades Examiner
    Born in Sri Lanka, Chris completed her training for four years in London at the Arts Educational Trust School and London College of Dance and Drama.  In 1985 Chris returned to Sydney and has been teaching and adjudicating since then.  Chris enjoys travelling the world as an adjudicator and examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance.

    LORENA OTES
    Lorena trained at the London Contemporary Dance School, where she gained a BA (Hons).  She then worked in London, performing, teaching and choreographing.  Since returning to Australia, Lorena has choreographed pieces for the Short Sweet & Dance Festival and taught Contemporary, Jazz and Ballroom.
     
    ELISE OSBORNE
    Elise achieved her ARAD after completing her Advanced 2 exam.  Elise teaches jazz, ballet and contemporary dance and is CDA jazz qualified. 
     
    BELLA SWARTZBERG
    Bella danced with the Johannesburg Festival Ballet Company (the forerunner for PACT Ballet).  After teaching for many years she was appointed an examiner for AIDT in tap and modern, and NSDT for ballet.  Bella is an examiner for ADV/ADAP and is a member of the Australian Dance Adjudicators (ADA).  She is a life member of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).

    DANIELLA TOSON
    At the age of 5 Daniella commenced her training at NSDA. She achieved her Advanced 2 ARAD and a high band 6 in HSC Dance. Daniella was also selected to perform in HSC Dance Callbacks due to the exemplary quality of her work and has participated in numerous prize winning solo and group eisteddfod pieces. Daniella is currently enrolled in the Royal Academy of Dance Teachers' Course.

    MARIE WALTON-MAHON ARAD
    Marie Walton was the Principal of the Marie Walton-Mahon Dance Academy for 36 years.  Five years ago she founded the National College of Dance.  She is a Vocational Graded Examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and is a Mentor and Tutor for Teacher Training.  In 2010 Marie was appointed Vocational Tutor for the new RAD vocational syllabus.

    SARAH WORTHINGTON
    Sarah began her dance training at North Shore Dance Academy at age 6.  During her time at the Academy she achieved her Advanced 2 ARAD and a band 6 result for HSC dance.  Sarah went on to study dance at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where she performed a variety of works by renowned Australian and International choreographers, and also taught dance at a number of Perth schools.
